Paul Bailey is well aware his questions, infuriate various people up to and including law enforcement. After all, why else would a member of that community say, "what else would they do to him (Greer), fire him? He already doesn't work there anymore." But if they had endured the same abuse, we're pretty sure they'd be angry as well and try to get the word out any way they could.
He means no harm to any of Mrs. Stansell's family, in fact, he himself is very grieved at her passing. After all, he knew she would have been a great witness for him. He also wants to make it clear that another Jane Doe that worked there told him "that Debra Stansell was very grieved at what had happened to him". That means she was a very ethical person and had voiced concerns to other people. People that could now be witnesses. She realized that things no one anticipated that evening had precipitated events that had hurt Mr. Bailey (Bailey was robbed after he was arrested by the bogus 911 caller that set things in motion that evening, that was exactly what Mr. Bailey was expecting to happen and apparently no one believed him).
But he also wants it made very clear- HE WOULD NOT WRITE HIS POSTS AND DIRECT THEM TO BE PUT ON HIS BLOG AT ALL IF THINGS HAD BEEN HANDLED BY THE BOOK AND NO EVIDENCE TAMPERING HAD OCCURRED IN HIS CASE.
THE COLLIN COUNTY PROSECUTORS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DETERMINE THE SAME, HAD THEY LISTENED CLOSELY TO THE EVIDENCE, THEY THEMSELVES SHOULD HAVE QUESTIONED THE EVIDENCE.
Any time you rely on any evidence, you should question it's source, purpose, conclusion and also question it's authenticity. Do they believe that they get a free pass just because no one walked up, kicked them in the rear and said "Hey--that guy Greer just impeached himself ON THE TAPE! and by the way, there's a blank spot here, and while you're at it, why isn't the gunshot heard on the lapel mic, the sound had come back on by then-- if it wasn't recorded then why not, and hey- MAYBE HE WASN'T WHERE HE SAID HE WAS- and maybe- just maybe HE LIED ABOUT WHERE HE WAS, AND NO "ASSAULT" EVER OCCURRED!
We've already established his attorneys at trial were dumb and dumber- but ethically, the Prosecution had a responsibility to make sure that their own witnesses and the evidence used was impeccable.
IS PAUL BAILEY SUPPOSED TO PAY THE PRICE AND NOT BE ANGRY AT WHAT THEY HAVE PUT HIM THROUGH? IS HE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE OUTRAGED AT WHAT THEY HAVE COST HIM BOTH IN PRISON ABUSE AND THE LOSS OF HIS HOME AS WELL?
